Website design & development. Looks the part. Does the job.
Your website should make it clear what you do, why it matters and what happens next. We bring the structure, content, design and development together, so it feels like your business and works for the people using it. From a focused one-page site to a larger company website, we think it through and build it.
Awove is a multi-award-winning brand and web agency working internationally with founders, businesses and organisations.

A good-looking website is the start. Not the finish.
The pages need to make sense. The words need to say something. And the person on the other side of the screen should know where to go next. We design the whole experience, not just the bit that looks impressive in the presentation.
Already have a strong identity? We work with it. Starting from scratch, or feeling that the business has outgrown its look? We can develop the brand and website together. Either way, the website should feel like it belongs to you.
Clarity.
What you do, who it’s for and why it matters. Without making people piece it together themselves.
Character.
A visual direction that feels like your business, carried through the pages rather than stopping at the logo.
Action.
A clear next step, whether that is an enquiry, a booking, a purchase or simply finding the information they came for.
The design should turn heads. The navigation shouldn’t leave them scratching.
The brand gives it character. The structure makes it useful.
From “we need a website” to “we’re live.”
- 01
Work out what the website needs to do.
We start with the business, the audience and the job the site needs to do. What should people understand? What do they need to find? What should happen next? We agree the brief, content needs and functionality before getting carried away with the homepage.
- 02
Give the content a proper home.
We plan the pages, navigation and content order so the important things are easy to find. Existing copy, new content and the route to an enquiry are considered together, rather than squeezed into a design afterwards.
- 03
Design it like it belongs to you.
We turn that structure into a visual direction built around your brand. Typography, imagery, layout and interaction work together across screen sizes. We present the thinking, explain the decisions and refine the work through the agreed feedback stages.
- 04
Build the thing. Properly.
We turn the approved designs into a working website, including the agreed forms, content-editing tools and integrations. The design and development stay connected, rather than becoming somebody else’s problem halfway through.
- 05
Test it. Launch it. Hand it over.
We check the agreed layouts, journeys and functionality, prepare the launch and explain how to use what we’ve built. Replacing an existing site? We agree what needs to move and how the changeover will work before launch day.
A working website. Not a folder of designs.
The thinking, design and development belong in the same project. We scope the pages, content, features and handover around what your business actually needs, so you know what we’re building before we begin. Read why judgement still matters as the tools change.
Your project. Properly scoped.
Structure. Content. Design. Development. Launch.
- Website direction & structure
- The purpose of the site, its audiences, the page structure and the routes people need to take through it.
- Content & copy
- Organising what you need to say and where it belongs. Writing, editing and image sourcing are agreed in the scope.
- Custom website design
- The layouts, typography, imagery and interactions that bring your brand into the website.
- Responsive development
- A functioning website built from the approved direction, with layouts and agreed features adapted across screen sizes.
- Content editing, where needed
- A structured way to update the agreed content, without turning every small change into a redesign.
- Testing, launch & handover
- Checks of the agreed functionality, launch preparation and guidance on using the delivered website.
You bring the knowledge of your business. We bring the design judgement and technical work. You shouldn’t have to moonlight as the person holding it all together.
Your proposal confirms the pages, functionality, content, editing access and support included. Additional requirements are agreed and priced before work begins.
And we don’t disappear at launch.
You get a working website and a clear handover, not a link and a cheerful goodbye. We explain how to use the features we’ve delivered and agree the support you need afterwards.
Where content editing is included, you can update the agreed text, images and entries without having to redesign the page. The layout, typography and responsive behaviour stay intact.
Your proposal sets out the support period and what is covered. New pages, features, redesigns and regular content work are separate. Hosting, domains and third-party costs are explained separately too.
Some websites worth a look.
Different businesses. Different briefs. The same attention to getting it right.
A few things worth asking.
Do you design the website, or build it too?
Both. Our website engagements bring design and development together. You receive a working site, with the functionality and handover agreed in your proposal, not just a set of screens to pass to another supplier.
Do we need a new brand first?
No. If you already have an identity that works, we use it. If the direction needs attention, we can scope that alongside the website. A new site should not automatically mean throwing away a good brand.
Can you redesign our existing website?
Yes. We look at what is worth retaining, what needs to change and what the current setup can support. Content migration, redirects and existing functionality are agreed before work begins rather than assumed to transfer automatically.
Will we be able to update the content ourselves?
Where editing is included, yes. We set up access to the content you need to manage, such as news, projects, team profiles or other agreed entries. That does not mean handing over the layout to a page builder. New pages or design changes are scoped separately.
Do you write the website copy?
We can help with content structure, writing and editing. The amount included is agreed in your proposal. We still need your knowledge of the business, accurate information and feedback; you do not need to arrive with perfect prose.
How much does a website cost, and how long does it take?
That depends on the pages, content, functionality and how much already exists. We agree the scope, price and schedule before starting. Our package page covers defined brand-and-website offers; a website-only brief can be scoped separately.
Will the website be set up for search engines?
We plan a clear content structure and agree the relevant technical setup, such as page titles, descriptions, sitemaps and redirects. That is a foundation, not a promise of rankings or an ongoing SEO service.
Can you include bookings, a shop or other integrations?
Those can be scoped into the project where needed. We review the requirements and the systems involved before quoting. They are not automatic extras in every website engagement.
Is hosting included in support?
Hosting and support are different things. Your proposal explains the hosting, domain and third-party costs, alongside the support for the delivered website. Additional pages, features and ongoing content work are separate.
What happens in the free 15-minute consultation?
Tell us what you are launching, replacing or trying to improve. We’ll ask a few questions and work out whether we are the right fit. You do not need a technical specification or a perfect brief. No strings attached.
