This notice explains how Awove Limited handles personal data when you use this website, contact us or work with us.
Who is responsible for your data
Awove Limited is the data controller. You can contact us about privacy or your rights at [email protected] or using the details in our Impressum.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, messaging handle, company, project information and anything else you choose to include. If you become a client, we also process the contact, contractual, project and billing information needed to provide our services and maintain business records.
Our hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser information, requested page, date and time, to deliver and secure the website. When you submit the contact form, Google reCAPTCHA processes technical and interaction information to assess whether the submission is legitimate. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Hotjar are paused in the current website measurement setup. Awove's private campaign report uses aggregate advertising figures and counts of accepted enquiries, without sending new conversion events or contact identifiers to advertising platforms. Known campaign labels may accompany an enquiry only when analytics is allowed; ordinary contact details remain in the operational enquiry record so we can respond.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you and take steps at your request before entering into a contract. If you tick the contact permission box, we may also send very occasional greetings or useful updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We process client information to perform our agreements, meet legal and accounting obligations and manage our legitimate business interests. Technical logs may be processed for our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure, reliable and available.
You are not legally required to submit an enquiry. Without sufficient contact or project information, however, we may not be able to respond or provide a proposal.
Who receives it
Personal data is available only to Awove and service providers that help us operate our business. Resend processes contact-form messages to deliver the notification to Awove and the confirmation email to you. Google reCAPTCHA processes limited technical and interaction data to protect the form from spam and abuse. Our hosting, communications, professional advisers and business-administration providers may also process data where necessary for their relevant service and subject to appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information where required by law or a competent authority.
Clicking the WhatsApp link takes you to a service operated by WhatsApp/Meta. Their own privacy information applies from that point.
International transfers
We favour providers and hosting within the European Economic Area. If a provider processes personal data outside the EEA, we require an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
General enquiries that do not lead to work are normally kept for no longer than 24 months. Client, contractual and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years where required for legal, tax or business purposes. Technical security logs are retained only for the limited period configured by our hosting provider. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires longer retention.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you may ask us for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or to object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not use your data for solely automated decisions or profiling.
Send a request to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (opens in a new tab) or the supervisory authority where you live or work.
Cookies and local storage
The website stores your analytics and marketing preferences so it can respect them. United States visitors can opt out at any time; visitors elsewhere can change or withdraw consent at any time using the cookie icon. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
