More than an agency.
Calling Awove a branding agency is accurate.
It just isn’t the whole story.
Brand strategy and identity design are our core. They’re where we came from and they’re still where a lot of our best relationships begin.
But businesses don’t live in brand guideline PDFs.
A brand eventually has to do something.
It needs a website.
A digital product.
A campaign.
A presentation.
A launch.
A system.
An experience.
Sometimes a piece of technology that didn’t exist before somebody in a meeting said, “Wouldn’t it be useful if...”
So over the years, our capabilities grew around the problems our clients brought us.
Today Awove works across brand strategy, identity design, web design, development, complex web applications, digital products, creative direction, marketing strategy, campaigns and concept development.
But we’re not trying to pretend that every person in our studio knows everything about everything.
Nobody does.
Our strength is knowing how to figure things out.
If we know how to solve it, we solve it.
If we need to learn something, we learn it.
If the project needs specialist knowledge we don’t have internally, we find the right person and bring them into the room.
The client shouldn’t have to assemble twelve disconnected suppliers simply because their problem crosses twelve arbitrary industry categories.
We’d rather understand the whole thing and build the right team around the answer.
That also means we’re comfortable saying no.
We don’t manage your daily social media.
We don’t sell SEO retainers.
We don’t want to become your outsourced content calendar.
There are specialists who are considerably better suited to those jobs.
Our value tends to sit further upstream.
What should the brand be?
What should we say?
What’s the idea?
What’s the opportunity?
What should we build?
How should it work?
How do all these pieces become one coherent thing?
And then, wherever it makes sense, we make it real.
That’s what we mean by more than an agency.
Not that we do everything.
That we take responsibility for figuring out what needs to be done.
